🌈 Unite, Celebrate, and Walk with Pride at the Fox Valley Pride Promenade

Join BACGD and the Fox Valley community on June 21st for an empowering Pride Promenade that celebrates our

voices, allies, and the beautiful diversity of our LGBTQIA2S+ family. From the heartwarming gathering at the History Museum to the vibrant festivities at Jones Park, this day promises connection, joy, and solidarity as we walk together down College Avenue in support of love and acceptance for all.

• Who is Invited: BACGD (Bay Area Center for Gender Diversity) invites all members of our community, friends, family, and allies to join us the Pride Promenade (walk/march) at Fox Valley Pride.

• What to Wear: Participants are encouraged (but not required) to wear pink, blue, and/or white.

• Gathering Point: Meet at 11:30 AM at the History Museum at the Castle, located on the northwest corner of Drew & College Avenue in Appleton. Look for the BACGD parade banner.

• Promenade Details:

  • Start: 12:00 PM at the History Museum, heading down College Ave.

  • End: Houdini Plaza (downtown Appleton)

• Pride Festivities: After the walk, join the main Pride celebration at Jones Park, which features live entertainment including drag shows, music, and a cornhole tournament, speeches, and more from 1:00 to 8:00 PM.

• Event Highlights:

  • Pride Promenade: A family-friendly, inclusive walk/rally/party down College Ave.

  • Jones Park Festivities: Live performances, vendors, dance parties, and community activities.

  • Rules: No alcohol, no candy distribution, no megaphones, and participants must follow city ordinances and event guidelines.
