Trans Youth Holiday Party 2023

One very BIG success!

In December 2022, twenty-five transgender young people (grades 6 thru 12) met up for the first Bay Area Youth Trans Alliance T-Youth Holiday Party …. this year,  forty-five showed up! Our outreach and connections for young people are growing; a wide range of middle and high schools throughout the region were represented.

A big shout out goes to Hinterland Brewery, one of the co-sponsors for providing a wonderful room to meet in, a hot chocolate buffet and great smorgasbord of snacks.

Another shout out to the Titletown District and the Packers’ Organization for providing free tubing or skating passes for the kids.

Thanks, too,  for the businesses who contributed items for a raffle.

And last but not least, a humongous thanks to the many volunteers who chaperoned this BATYA event -- parents, school counselors/social workers, mental health specialists and BACGD allies.

To say the least a good time was had by all. We are already looking forward to next year’s holiday party.
