LGBTQ+ young people are not inherently prone to higher suicide risk because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Rather, they are placed at higher risk because of how they are mistreated and stigmatized in society. The Trevor Project publishes data collected yearly on a state by state wide basis and is available here at no charge (thanks to the many donors and sponsors) for you to access and share. You will find Wisconsin's data here as well as the citation and links to all the other states, Puerto Rico, and Washington DC.
