Last month, preliminary details regarding BACGD's participation in the June 9 Milwaukee Pride Parade were released. Volunteers and supporters are still needed; we would love to have as many trans persons, their families, friends, and allies assist in assembling the float and/or marching as a unit. Persons under 18 youth must be accompanied by an adult - thanks for understanding.

Decorating the float/truck will begin at 11:00 am near the parade route. Folks are needed to blow up and tie off balloons to be affixed to the float/truck. This year, small packets of Skittles will be shared with the crowds, as well as trans pride mini flags and bracelets. Sign up for the kazoo band ( if you can blow up a balloon you are qualified to play a kazoo wink & grin)
The parade kicks off at 2:00. The energy and pageantry of the parade with 15,000 people lining the streets of the one mile route are not to be missed. A block party follows the parade with live entertainment, food and fun. A good time for all ages not to be missed.
