Local Voices / International Effort --Thanks to Cole, Rachel, & Martha

In celebration of the recent Transgender Day of Visibility, the state-wide non-profit A Better Wisconsin Together partnered with the Bay Area Council on Gender Diversity to create an educational/advocacy video series. According to the good people at the Human Rights Campaign, there are approximately 1.6 million trans, non-binary and gender-expansive youth (age 13+) and adults just in the United States alone, all with stories worth sharing.

ABWT staff member Hannah Ziemer traveled to Green Bay to interview Rachel, Cole, and Martha with the goal of creating awareness and deepening understanding through the sharing of their experiences, insights, and reflections.

Watch what Rachel, Cole, and Martha had to say -- and join us with gratitude for their willingness to share. You can view the entire series here; scroll down to the Storytelling section.

Join us in expressing our gratitude to all the participants in this series for their willingness to be vulnerable through the gracious sharing of their personal stories.
