A HUGH Success!
On May 11th, the second annual LGBTQ+ Queer High School Prom was held at the Tarlton Theatre. It was all made possible for our 50 or so high school attendees through the efforts of so many partners! Music was provided by the DJ RockIT Man. There were lots of door prizes, special non-alcoholic mocktails and food from The Tarlton staff, dancing, free professional photos taken by Kathleen Caylor Photography, more dancing, and a free post prom party at Buzz Social. The energy in the room, all the excitement, the laughter, the fun ( and did we mention dancing?) were all amazing. There were so many wonderful moments created, stories shared, and new friends made.
Please join us in tipping our hats to all those who supported this effort: The Tarlton Theatre and staff, Kathleen Caylor Photography, Buzz Social, Green Bay Police Department, Green Bay Education Association, RockIT Man DJ Services, Ann Bliss for gathering all the door prizes, and the team of volunteers who planned, decorated, took tickets and chaperoned. An amazing collaboration all in support of our young people. Thank you!
