October 31 -- Annual Halloween Party at the Napalese Lounge begins at 9:00 pm.
November 1-30 Transgender Awareness Month
November 1 - Meet the award winning author of the bestseller "American Teenager - How Trans Kids Are Surviving Hate and Finding Joy in a Turbulent Era" Nico Lang – at the Lion's Mouth Independent Bookstore in downtown Green Bay. All ages welcome; Martha Marvel will moderate a 4:30 - 5:30 presentation/interview with time for book signings to follow.
November 2 - Happy Trans Parent Day! This day, every first Sunday of November, honors transgender and gender non-conforming parents, as well as parents of transgender children, offering an alternative to traditional Mother's and Father's Day holidays.
November 2 – N.E. W. Pride Event at the Oneida Casino – Doors Open at noon; 1:30 Drag Story hour; 2:30 music by Kat & The Hurricanes; 4:00 Drag Show; 5:15 music by Traveling Suitcase; 7:00 closing Drag Show. BACGD will sponsor a vendor booth – stop and say hi! No charge/admission - family friendly.
November 2 – Adult Transgender and Non-Binary Peer Group on-line via Zoom Social Support Meeting at 7:00 pm. Email Rachel Maes, group facilitator, for Zoom code / meeting invite at rmaes3@UWAlumni.com Group also features a private FaceBook page.
November 6 – CD/TG First Thursday Gathering at Napalese Lounge, 6:30 until ?
November 9 – Mark your calendar for a BACGD All – Community Trans Adults/Youth, Family, Friends, and Allies Fall Frolic at Buzz Social, 2:00 to 4ish. Bowling, Video Games, Food, Door Prizes. Non-Bowlers welcome too. $5.00 per person gets you 3 games of bowling and shoe rental; if you plan on bowling, please help the party planners out by pre-registering by November 2nd. Tickets for bowlers available at Eventbrite.
November 12 - Let's Talk About SEX (and Gender) with recently retired UWGB Professor Daniel Meinhardt, PhD, where he taught courses in human anatomy and physiology, comparative vertebrate anatomy, and evolutionary biology. Co-sponsored by Indivisible Brown County and BACGD, in the Brown County Library Downtown Auditorium (lower level) 6:00 -7:30 pm No charge but pre-registration will assist the planners please - follow this link.
November 13 - 19 Transgender Awareness Week ... Each year between November 13 – 19, people and organizations around the country participate in Transgender Awareness Week to help increase understanding about transgender people and the issues members of the community face. November 20 - Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance on November 20 that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence. GLAAD offers some reources here.
November 20 – An Evening of Hope -- Suicide Prevention/Intervention Training at NWTC -- open to the general public - all ages 13 and above. Co-sponsored by BACGD, BATYA, Family Services & NWTC. 6:00 – 8:00 pm, no cost to attend; free pizza included – preregistration required please -- registration link found here.
November 27 - Thanksgiving Day in the United States

December 4 – Annual Glamour & Glitz CD/TG First Thursday Holiday Party, 6:30 until ?? at the Napalese Lounge – Wear your finest and for those interested, we take an annual group photo. Check out the 2024 photo at this link. Friends, family, and allies welcome, too!
December 11 – Annual T - Youth Holiday Party sponsored by BATYA, BACGD, and Hinterland Brewery. Gather at Hinterland Brewery/private party room at 6:00 pm (door prizes, food, hot chocolate) and free skating or tubing passes for fun in the Titletown District. Please note you must pre-register by December 4th in order to recive a free skating or tubing pass -- sign up info will be posted shortly.
