Very Important - Calling all members of the trans community, friends, and allies to participate in this special community gathering on Saturday, October 12th. The more trans, non-binary, genderfluid voices the better!
Please share this invitation with your families, friends, and allies as well. This effort is not limited to Green Bay residents but open to anyone with connections to Northeast Wisconsin.
Through a community based Belonging Begins Here grant received from Neighborhood Partners, BACGDD has hired a professional facilitator – Mr. Bob Johnson - to help us to reflect on our first seven years as an organization and then, with your important thoughts, ideas, and creative suggestions – brainstorm for the next seven years.
The highly interactive and fun session will run from 10:00 am until 2:30 pm. Coffee, snacks, a nice lunch, and great conversation will be provided. This event will be held in space provided by the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at 1313 Main Street on Green Bay's East side -- just a block west of the Napalese Lounge.
We really hope that you can make an effort to clear your calendar and join us for this important gathering. There are no costs involved as the grant covers all expenses.
Pre-registration is requested so that we can order enough food and supplies. Drop a note to TransGreenBay@gmail.com with the names of those attending. Bring a crowd -- the more voices the better!
